Love the egrip! Have 3 in rotation, just got the rba bases and installed on 2 of them.. agreed, more air.. more vapor, more flavor. Problem is that they are very messy now, leaking top and bottom… constantly blowing them out… oily, stinky hands… just a drippy stinky mess & wasting a lot of juice! Don’t wanna switch back to prebuilt!!! Any ideas on the fix? Maybe more wicking material packed in? Just used them how they came… snugged them up, primed
them and vapid… love everything about them except the mess! Any help???

Had the same problem with mine. Check out this tutorial: http://ukvapers.org/Thread-eGrip-RBA-re-wicking-to-cure-leaks

Worked for me, although I get a bit of a tight draw… But hey, no more leaks!

Tried packing them like that… tight…loose…medium. even soldered 2 of the holes closed! still leaky… not worth the headache. Pre-built are pretty cheap now at vapeNW.com 17.50 for a 5 pack @ 3.50 a piece… free shipping over 50 bucks… hell, a new egrip there is only 50 bucks. If I can’t afford that, I need a new hobby!!

the egrip is soooo close to the perfect unit as it is!!! Just some tinkering with the charging port being loose with no support for it inside… and maybe upgrade the battery to better quality and 2100 mah… and open up the air hole a bit or have dual feed air holes… ship with a optional short fat tip for super stealth… would gladly pay a premium for those upgrades from joytech! Maybe we will get them on the next generation of egrip???? even with those few minor annoyances, … the unit is pretty much the best thing out for cig replacement without hassle or too much expense.
